RDAR Announces Board of Directors for 2025-2026

The following individuals have been endorsed as directors:

  • Dr. David Chalack, DVM, ICD.D | Nominator: RDAR

  • Steven Kenyon | Nominator: Agricultural Research and Extension Council of Alberta (ARECA)

  • Jason Lenz  | Nominator: Alberta Grains

  • Dr. Fred Lozeman, PhD | Nominator: Alberta Beef Producers

As a producer-led organization dedicated to delivering impactful research outcomes to Alberta’s agricultural community, the RDAR Board plays a crucial role in overseeing research investments and corporate governance. 

Dr. David Chalack was re-elected Chair. He stated, “I’m thrilled to have been returned to the position of Board Chair and to work alongside such a wealth of agriculture experience in my fellow directors. We are all dedicated to delivering the best outcomes for Albertan producers, and I look forward to further fulfilling this great organization’s mandate.” D'Arcy Hilgartner was re-elected as Vice Chair. 

The Chair also expressed the organization’s gratitude to departing directors Dr. Stanford Blade and Mr. David Hoekstra for their dedication to RDAR, Alberta producers, and the agricultural community.
